Winter Jam ’24 on Sunday, February 25 was attended by 22 Solid Rock teens and adults.  Lunch and a ball game were enjoyed at the church prior to leaving for the concert!

 

Did you know that it’s not unusual for elementary students to go outside for recess without wearing a hat, scarf or gloves in the winter months?  Reasons vary from the family’s lack of resources to the students just forgetting.  The Solid Rock Teens decided to help by making scarves and hats to donate to local schools!  At the moment, they are working on scarves and hats for Madison Elementary School and hats for Blissfield Elementary School! 

The teens are having so much fun with this project that they would like to continue making them.  If you are interested in donating fleece or money to purchase fleece, please contact Jen Stutzman.   1-28-2024

When hearing that the local Blissfield Area Food Pantry was in desperate need for food items, Jen Stutzman and her Solid Rock students had an impromptu plea for donations and went on a shopping spree during Sunday morning class time.  Here they are with their $200 shopping bounty in addition to $100 in cash for the food pantry!  This is a perfect example of Christ’s Church showing Love to those in need!  9-10-2023
