What Can We Do?
As we Gather together, and Grow in His Word, we are to Go out into our world to share the life-changing love of Christ with others.  In Acts 1:8, Jesus says, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”  It is the prayer of Solid Rock to show God’s Love by sharing His message and serving the needs of those in our Blissfield community and beyond!

Laundry & Literacy
Saturday, April 13th, Solid Rock partnered with Great Start Family Coalition and Nichols Laundry Center to provide free laundry services for families with children 12 and younger.  We were able to help 9 families, and had a wonderful time of chatting with them and in a few instances, pray with them.  Thanks so much to everyone from Solid Rock who came out to take part in our first laundry project and to all who donated to the cause!  The Solid Rock Family Rocks!

Solid Rock Hosted Community Lenten Breakfast
The Season of Lent is connected with the 40 days leading up to Easter in which Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the desert where He was tempted by the devil.  It’s a time for us to personally and within our community,  reflect on our spiritual life and our commitment to the Lord as we prepare for the celebration of our Lord’s Resurrection!

We had a wonderful opportunity to serve our community when we hosted a Lenten Breakfast for the Blissfield Ministerial Association on Thursday, March 14th.  Our own Liz Doyle spoke to 43 in attendance.
